Behavioral health problems, such as mental illness and chemical dependency, are more common than any other health problem today, affecting 20% of Americans and their families each year. Up to 50% of all people with mental illnesses and 90 % of people who have a substance use disorder do not get the treatment they need due to self-sufficiency, stigma, discrimination, gaining access to treatment, etc.
